it used to be a great app but now its horrible, way too many ads and they open automatically. I don't like it anymore
While uTorrent is functionally sound software, it's full of ads and other annoyances. You're on HyperVTX already. Use it! Pick one of the top open-source alternatives, they're all really great and have zero ads or paid upgrades.
it was once a good site.. but now has many ads, scams and stuff. avoid using it.
slow, many holes and spams
uTorrent is terrible now. A few years ago it used to be a great application, but now it is bloated ads everywhere. I switched from uTorrent to Deluge because it was causing 100% CPU usage but have never gone back. I much prefer Deluge.
µTorrent was my only Torrent client for many years. But over the time it became a bloated and disgusting adware. I don't see any reason to use it anymore, considering there are lots of good open-source alternatives with better functionality.
Terrible. Don't trust them with their shady practices.
I don't mind ad-supported, but I do mind getting dating/borderline pornographic ads. Even worse, it clicks on its own ads.
Gets worse and worse with every update. It works, but why use it?
Once most popular torrent client, nowadays ads everywhere and most feature are only available for premium users
shady as hell, dont use
Was the best torrent client years and years ago. They went extremely shady and after all the negative feedback they were like "Hey, the people love it, lets make it even worse". Bundleware, spyware, intrusive ads. Do yourself a favor and avoid it. Qbit is pretty good, but they tend to break their own client with their own updates and it is a bit annoying. Transmission is a good simple client.
I like this site when I started using it but years after, it was quite really annoying to see more ads and pop-ups. It was disappointing and the way that they don't filter the ads on screen that are inappropriate for some kids.
